Anyway, i had wrote before about Camper Clubs of America, $199 per
year and got several replies that sometimes they only let you in to
the member campgrounds for the $5 per night later in the
evening....and if they fill up later in the evening, then you get to
find another place....
So, what about Passport America and Escapees RV Club. Also, are their
any other membership bargains????
I'm single and will probably travel alone most of the time.... I'm not
much for campground "things", just looking for a safe place to park
and hook up..... probably just overnights.....
Passport America may well be a great choice for you, given the fact that you
don't tend to stay much more than 'overnights'. It costs $39 per year to
belong, and you'll most likely recoup that amount in 2 or 3 nights, assuming
that you stay in affiliated RV parks and take advantage of the 50%
discounts. To find out more about PPA, go to www.passport-america.com. Ask
to speak with Tiffany and tell her that Ram of RV Safety referred you.
As you head north there is a Knight's Inn & RV Park in Ashburn GA on I75.
!00% pull-ins and hook-ups for less than $10./night. They are also a member
of Camper Clubs of America of which I'm considering. FWIW CCA currently has
a free satellite dish offer. Looked good except for " Monthly programming
for as little as $19.95 is required." Can't do that with free cable at home.
Hey cheapie..I use both coast to coast and Passport. C to C is getting
expensive to use with the annual dues and campground renewel cost plu $ 4.00
per night with some restrictions...However I do like Passport and get the
chance to camp for 50% off thenormal price....Your option...
We use Passport America and really like it. The others are
not much of a bargain unless you really fulltime and can use
their parks.
I think Passport America is the best deal around. You can't beat 50%
off for $39 a year.
