Question:
I still maintain my online accounts on both Quicken 2005 and Money 2006.
I've noticed that Quicken downloads some transactions that do not
appear on Money. For example, there are three transactions that cleared
on 8/22 that Quicken had no problem downloading today 8/24 whereas Money
doesn't. No error messages from Money either. Is there a way to force
a "full synchronization"? Is this related to Yodell?
Answer:
I also use Fidelity and have been having similar problems. What type of
transactions are you having problems with? One thing that I noticed is that
if I stop using online services, re-setup online services, and download the
last 7 days transactions, then everything comes down fine. Let me know if
you find a solution to this problem. Its been bugging me for over a month
now.
It has been deposits and other online transactions (payments that look
like debits).
I'll see if changing the online settings can fix it.
I have not seen this, but thanks for the warning and I will watch for
it. I however do not download to a second machine as you do.
BTW - Fidelity is serviced directly and not through Yodlee.
I'm having inconsistent connection problems with Fidelity in 2006 without a
passport. NetBenefits seems to suffer the problem more than Fidelity
Investments.
Just to clarify, it's two applications (Quicken and Money)
not two machines. I could more easily rationalize it if I had two
machines. It still doesn't make much sense.
Since Fido is the keeper of the data interface, I'll bug them for a
solution.
Actually, per the another user that claims an error off of the
Netbenifits site, I am now only able to download my Fidelity accounts
from the fidelity site and my 403b accounts are now not downloading.
I assume that you are capturing the file and manually importing it since
you say that Quicken and Money are on the same machine and you may not
be able to associate the file to both. Not certain how this is working
on direct connections.
