Anyone have any experience with
the interview process at the Frankfurt,
Germany consulate? How long after
the interview does it take to get
the visa? How long was the wait
to be seen? What questions do they
ask?
Answer:
I went through the process in February
and I had pretty much the same experience.
It was all very much a procedure,
but the people there were very friendly.
Including the waiting time, it took
about 45 minutes.
The visa usually
takes about one to two weeks. In
my case I needed it a lot later
(I can only move end of July), so
they were nice enough to withhold
it till march, so I have enough
time to fly to the US without risking
my visa to run out. I didn't even
know that it was possible for them
to withhold it, but the woman at
the first window informed me about
it when she heard about my situation.
