Lost Green card - form I-90.......help please?
Question:

I never updated my change of address. This won't cause any problems when I fill in my current address on the I-90 will it?

Will I have to be fingerprinted again? If so, where, and do I need to get this done before I go to the Sub Office in Orlando?

Any other heads ups guys, or experience of using this office?

Answer:

Im due to go to England in about 3 weeks, and can not for the life of me find where my green card is. >From what Ive looked up, I need to get form I-90 filled in and take it

to my local OFFICER IN CHARGE which is in Orlando - and I dont need to make an appointment for it (although Im guessing it will take ages in the line). When I file this form in the office, I will then receive a new green card in the mail. In the office, they will then put a new stamp in my passport to enable me to travel out and back into the country immediately.

Im thinking I need to take:

UK passport Photo ID I-90 forms x 2? cheque to pay for forms Notice of action letter I received when I arrived anything else?

Just wondering, I never updated my change of address. This won't cause any problems when I fill in my current address on the I-90 will it?

Will I have to be fingerprinted again? If so, where, and do I need to get this done before I go to the Sub Office in Orlando?

Oh, I just noticed on the form I must have 2 photos ADIT style....................................

NO NOT ADIT --- Passport style

CIS changed the photo requirements a while back.

You just the darn thing and already you misplaced it. Wabbit you are too much.

Check the website for the CIS and be sure that Orlando does not require an Infopass appointment first.

Also you were by law suppose to report your change of address via form AR-11 within ten days of moving.

I checked CIS, and coz the e-filing wouldnt work, Ive made an appointment, thank you.

Do you think my new address could cause a problem? Shall I just give the address I used before, which is my mother-in-laws in MD, and state we are here temporarily in FL (which may be the case as we may be moving soon)?

Also, Im unsure about the biometric thing. Will I have to get new fingerprints done, if so, where and when?
