Question:
Does anyone know where I could go to get my green card/OPT photograph
taken, in Austin , TX ? Apparently regular passport photo centers
don't take these pics since the GC photo has certain strict
specifications.
Someone told me post offices offer this service.

I took mine at Eckerd Drug in Atlanta.
Its $8 for 2. Its a little big, but I hope it should be alright.
I've heard that places like Sears will take it.
I had mine taken in the mall at one of the photo shops
that did passport photos. They also did the 3/4 size
adit photos.
I needed 6 photos and the photos did come out big
and I made her take them again (she just had to take
one step back to make the size fine).
Make sure you take the INS photo guidelines sheet
with the examples on with you so they know exactly what you need.
I paid $9 for 2 pics. Expensive, so I made sure
they got it right.
I suggest that you look in the yellow pages for shops which
advertise that they do green card type photos.
as any immigrant in your area...those pic are pretty popular so you should
not have a problem finding one in austin..they cost $8 for 2 and thats all u
need...
