Question:
I am a 35 year old Dutch male who wants to exit his life in this country. I
would like to move to Australia. To regain the freedom the Dutch are denying
me. I was in Australia in 1997, and I wasn't able to make my own decisions.
I am so angry!?
Answer:
I've known quite a few Dutch to move here to idyllic tropical Queensland -
much nicer than snow storms. If you have skills then you should go to the
top of the queue.
What we don't like is illegal immigrants arriving on boats from China.
hey? I prefer illegal chinese immigrants coming to Australia than elderly
dutchies
What ya do is, buy a boat and enter the country illegally, ya get a better
response from the govt. then. Much more quicker.......thats what my parents
should have done!!
Suggest a short trip to the nearest Aust Embassy or High
Commission, fill in the paperwork and start the ball rolling.
If you are rich and have enough ready cash you can side
step the normal process and apply for a business migration.
There is also a web site with all the relevant data, I think it is
www.immi.gov.au or something like that.
Are you kidding - what freedom? Australia today is a nanny state. Yes,
ostensibly, in Australia, one is 'free', but only in the context of the
conservative politically correct norms that has been hammered into the
latest generation of do-gooders: Anyone who has an opinion not in line with
the PC norm is a racist, redneck or loony.
Everything that goes wrong in one's life is someone elses fault (and should
be sued); the government is responsible for ones welfare; The Korean and
Japanese position on immigration and foreign ownership (virtually
non-existant) fall on deaf ears here- yet an Australian who comments on why
house prices are getting so expensive (eg Sydney metro) - thanks largely to
targeted immigration from Hong Kong and Singapore (you know where a Syney
property at $500k is relatively cheap) - gets slammed as a racist or redneck
by - yes, another Australian if you please.
Take my advice, stay in Holland. Australia is a beautiful country (away
from the cities) but it's inhabited by a bunch of morons.
I do too Paul. You are so strong and intelligent. If Kim wins government
this year, will you celebrate by having a threesome with us. Kim doesn't
have the ticker "to do the deed" but he likes to watch.
Thats the trouble, he spends too much time playing with
that instead of THINKING about what would be good for
Australia or Australians. All the time he has been in charge
of the ALP he has not put forward a positive thing, it has
always been negative; quick to abuse and no ideas.
It's like two different countries. When you go into the cities, it's like,
black, brown and brindle. Play spot the Aussie. The country isn't like that.
They enjoy a good lifestyle and civic life, and don't identify with a
polyglot population, but that makes them - you guessed it - 'racist'.
but it's inhabited by a bunch of morons.
Australian country people are not only some of the most decent people in
the world but also very accepting of people from other races.
