Fingerpriting for canada immigration in USA?
Question:

I want to apply for canda immigration and for that i require fingerprints. I went local locity station in NJ and they told me that they do not do fingerprinting for immigration. Where can i get fingerprints ?

Answer:

Look in the yellow pages under fingerprinting/security services.

Also be sure they understand it's for Canadian Immigration, not US Immigration. Our local police station said they did not do fingerprints for immigration, but they meant for the INS - for US immigration. Once we made it clear to them that it was NOT for US immigration, they were willing to do the fingerprints and the FBI accepted them and everything's fine.

Yes, go again and this time be sure to mention immigration to canada NO the US fingerprints. It will work then
