After I obtain my GC, and I am sent abroad to as expetraite for two years, how do I maintain Lawful Permanent Resident Status ?... Since my primary residence is in the US.

Two ways:

- get a reentry permit

- hire a very good attorney. It may in some cases be possible to get your citizenship quicker.

What is the maximum length of time (to be out of country) for a reentry permit ? Is it need to be apply every year ?

A reentry permit is usually good for two years.
