Taking Immigration Photo in Chicago, IL?
Question:

My wife is about to submit her Canadian PR application froms (for the forms before Jun 28, 2002)

Ok.. I see the immigration photo are different from the US passport photo. So.. if she go to place taking passport photo, will she able to get them? for example wargreen?

Where she can take the immigration photo in Chicago,IL area?

Answer:

any photogropher can take them. just make sure you take the photo specification that is in the guides along with you, and give it to the photogropher.

its a simple matter of getting all the dimensions correct. no special equipment is needed for that. any photogropher should be able to do it.

We had a hard time... everywhere they tried to cut regular passport pictures into the specified format. It never worked out. We ended going up to Mophoto where they had a digital solution that allowed them to zoom in and out and cut pictures the way we needed. Even though it was in Denver, I bet there is one in Chicago.

I took my photographs in a photo store in Geneva, IL. It's on the north side of Roosevelt Rd., somewhere near 4th St., I don't remember the exact location. I can assure you the photos were acceptable, because I got the visa :)
