I've been in Japan six months

Question:
OI have been in Japan for 6 months - or at least I will have been on March 27. I want to stay for another 6 months. I'm living with my sister on an Air Base and taking care of her newborn. Can anyone tell me - do I have to return to the States and buy another round trip ticket to come back, or can I just go to Seoul for the weekend and come back to get another 90 day temporary visitor pass?

Will they ask to see my return ticket to the States (which they did when I went out at 90 days to get my 2nd 90 day visitors pass). Also, what happens if I don't leave at all - until 6 more months are up? Since I'm not taking a job away from a Japanese or going around begging, I shouldn't think they'd be too upset. Even if they deport me - will there be a fine, or will they just say, dont come back? I've tried calling the American Embassy in Tokyo but keep getting a busy signal, and nobody ever returns the messages i leave. Can anyone help?
