Question:
I live in Boston area and would like to know how much time does it takes to
get an EAD card after applying for adjustment of status (I-130, I-485,
I-765, I-864, G-325A). I am planning to apply all the documents
simultaneously.
Answer:
if you don't get it in 90 days, you can go to the local office to get an
interim EAD.
I'm wondering the same thing - I'll be applying by the beginning of June
in Boston - so let me know if you get any responses!
please look at my website at http://www.article16.org/ for an overview
of the issues.
the bad news: it sucks.
the good news: you are not alone. there is a lot of people in the same
situation.
to answer your question: it takes anywhere from 5 - 6 years.

As the EADs are now sent to
MSC/NBC for processing, the timeline for Boston is irrelevant. It is
the timeline for the MSC/NBC that is critical to your wait.
Note the
one thing that has not changed is that on the 91st day after receipt of
petition, if your EAD is not in your hand, you may go to the local
district office and demand an interim EAD.
Expect to wait about 90 days to receive the EAD card from
NBC/MSC. If you have not received your card within the 90 day timeframe
you can go to the local office in Boston to pick up your interim card.
