What exactly are the requirements for passport photos?
Question:
For our K1 visa INS said we need passport photos. My fiance is Canadian and we were wondering what exactly the requirements are for the photos, something about a 3/4 view or something like that...we went in to a place to get it done BUT they said visa pictures and passport pictures are different sizes and the passport pic has a straight ahead view...we are confused! what size should the pics be also? one more thing , can my fiance in Canada get the pics done in the states? or do they have to be done in Canada?

Answer:
The size should be roughly the same. it is the actual picture that is different. Check out the FAQ as that as a link to some examples http://www.txdirect.net/users/mike38/k1faq.htm Most people here in the UK got them done in a normal passport booth and just turned their heads. They can be done anywhere providing they follow the specs.
